Hello everyone!
My name is Amara, and I want to tell you all a little bit about myself and hopefully I can peak your interests. I am currently a student at MATC, but due to the unfortunate events I am obviously doing school online. *sigh*, but to keep myself busy I have been practicing a few new things. First new thing being Something Media! I am trying out the site for a friend of mine, Shia Fisher. He is giving me a big opportunity to grow my platform and get into the business world. My second new thing I am working on is stretching daily. I made a goal that by the “end” of the corona virus, or the end of quarantine I will be in the splits. The third thing I have been working on is Tik Tok dances. I want to keep up with the trends, so this quarantine is helping me get better at social media. Lastly I have been working on making myself a good meal at home. Being a little worried to leave the house or have anyone around your food is a good motivation to get busy in the kitchen. Now enough about how the virus has effected me, let me get down to the real me. I am a black women and I like to call myself an activist for black people. My goal is to start conversations, and encourage others to keep the conversations going. I believe in equity in all areas of life, even in places where people think there is no inequalities, or think it’s not that big of a deal. I want all things to eventually be truly all inclusive. So if you are interested in following the conversation, and spreading the conversation go check out my other platforms and keep a look out on here to see daily/ weekly updates. I have started a new hashtag so make it be known! #thecoronawontstoptheconvo! let me know what kind of things you want to see from me in the comments!
That’s all very good and thank you for the shout-out.
I think people might also be interested in your Podcast. If you gave a brief write up before or after, I’m not sure if there is a recording but we could find a way to include it with your write up… send me a PM to discuss further.
