As a member of the Madison Independent Filmmakers meetup group, a fair amount of my time is spent encouraging our members to get involved in a film project, preferably of their own. This year, there are plenty of reasons they should do just that.
Recently, I wrote about them here in the hope that more of our members would get excited. Then, the virus hit.
It’s at times like these that creative people really have to show the world what creativity is all about. Can we make movies when we can’t even be within 6 feet of each other? I think we can.
Over the next few days, I’ll be launching a number of initiatives that will give creative folks in the greater Madison area some ideas for making movies in the age of Coronavirus.
In the meantime, I’d love to hear about what you’re doing to stay creative in the comments.
